From software projects to broader operational systems
I'm Jason Cleeland, founder of Aptigence. My work has long sat at the intersection of software, operations, and real-world delivery. Across open-source projects, business systems, workflow tools, and booking platforms, the common thread has been the same: understand the workflow, then build technology that makes the work easier.
Early projects taught me that the technical challenge is rarely just about features. It is about people, timing, bottlenecks, edge cases, reporting needs, and the practical reality of how work moves through an organisation. Good systems do not just store information. They reduce friction and make teams more capable.
That approach led to projects like LimeSurvey, OpenCaseTracker, Omslets, and WholeSpace. They serve very different environments, but they come from the same discipline: practical web systems, strong data structures, clear user journeys, and tools that organisations can actually live with over time.
Aptigence brings that experience into client work today. Sometimes that means adopting or extending a reusable platform. Sometimes it means a custom portal, a reporting layer, an integration project, or a full workflow redesign supported by purpose-built software.
